Die Hebreeuse woord vir WAG is Qavah en dit beteken “om te wag, om te hoop vir iets, om uit te kyk vir iets wat jy verwag om te sien gebeur”.

Soms is dit baie moeilik om enige iets anders as jou probleme raak te sien. Dit verg dalk oefening om jou gedagtes op Hom en Sy beloftes te fokus.

Kies ‘n spesifieke skrif wat op jou situasie van toepassing is. Skryf dit neer op ‘n kaartjie of maak dit jou foon se agtergrond-prentjie. Elke keer wat jy bekommerd wil raak en fokus op jou huidige situasie, haal die kaartjie uit/plak dit teen jou spieël/lees dit op jou foon.

Soos jy vandag met hoop & ‘n nuwe verwagting op Hom wag, laat toe dat hy jou help om jou gedagtes op Hom & Sy beloftes te fokus. En wanneer jy kragteloos voel, draai na die Kragtigste Een. Onthou Paulus se woorde in Romeine 8:

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” Romans 8:18 ESV

Gaan lees sommer die hele Romeine 8 😉 Dit het my opnuut aangespoor.
